Database Administrator – Metro Washington, DC, NoVA (TS/SCI Poly)

CACI is aggressively looking for a Database Administrators with at least 4 to 10 years experience including Oracle or SQL.  Candidates will be working on a Lotus Notes data migration project for a USGC client.
Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Identify user requirements, set up computer databases, organize and store data, and test and coordinate modifications to the computer database systems.
·         Understand the performance parameters of the system, the platform on which the database runs, and adds new users to the system.
·         Plan and coordinate security measures data integrity, backup systems, and database security.
·         Provide technical assistance to computer system users; answers questions and resolve computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from remote locations.
·         Provide assistance concerning the use of computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, word-processing, electronic mail, and operating systems.
·         Provide technical expertise in the use of Database Management System (DBMS); evaluates and recommends available DBMS products to support validated user requirements.
·         Define file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications; manages the development of data base projects; performs capacity planning; provide support for implementation, troubleshooting and maintenance of IT systems.
·         Manage IT system infrastructures and any processes related to these systems; provide support to IT systems including: day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem identification and resolution for all of the client problems.
·         Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems and remain involved in the resolution process; provides support for the escalation and communication of status to Sponsor's management and internal customers; coordinates changes to computer databases, test and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems.
·         Responsible for operations related to systems management software.
·         Install and maintain software monitors and conduct advanced analysis of output and performance.
·         With Government direction, develop new databases (as needed) and provide O&M support on existing Domino client-based applications (such as Group Calendars, Action Tracking, CATS, workflow applications, and Messaging databases).
·         With Government direction, design requirements, test database functionality, resolve anomalies, research and implement new features. Attend design review meetings on behalf of management, provide status reports to senior management, liaison assistance with Government representatives, manage service requests tickets and phone calls, participate in pilot testing, and provide general user, administrative, and Tier 2 Close Support.
·         Provide input to System Security Plans and Certification and Accreditation (C&A).
·         Provide input to the Information Security Management database.
·         Be available to be reached in person 24 x 7 x 365.

Required Qualifications:
·         Demonstrated proficiency in understanding of the SharePoint application.
·         Be proficient with understanding and using MS Project to develop very detailed project schedules.
·         Demonstrated experience designing IT systems from the ground zero.

Required Qualifications:

·Provide technical support in the evaluation of prime object names, data elements, and other objects; ensure that proposed object definitions are clear, concise, technically correct, and that they represent singular concepts; ensure that the proposed objects are consistent with data and process models.
·Work with the technical staff to understand problems and then resolve them; resolves customer complaints with the software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements.
·Develop block diagrams and logic flow charts.
·Prepare required documentation, analyze functional business applications and design specifications for functional areas.
·Develop high level and detailed design diagrams using GFE tools; translate detailed design into computer software; including both program-level and user-level documentation.
·Provide guidance to programmers as required ensuring program deadlines are met.

Lead System Administrator MCSE or MCITP - (TS/SCI/ Polygraph)


CACI is looking to hire for full time long term positions Lead Systems Administrators to work on a critical program for a government agency in the Fort Meade area.  Candidates will need to have an MCSE or MCITP and a TS/SCI with a Polygraph (US Citizens only).

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

Must possess experience in one or more systems and architectures and associated hardware: mainframe, mini, or client/server.  Must have a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) certification or MCITP-EA with a minimum of 4 years of Active Directory experience and at the minimum 7 years of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Windows Support.  Candidate must have good customer relationship skills.  Will have excellent hardware and software troubleshooting skills, strong server experience,

Work as a Quality Control Manager for DOD INSCOM language program in Afghanistan.  Responsible for all aspects of testing and QC operations regarding program and assists the Theater Director in meeting requirements directed by client.
